We ourselves collect data from users that have created free accounts with us, more specifically just email addresses.
We ask for consent during the account creation process with a double opt in process, through a check box and a confirmation link by email. A link to this page is provided during the account creation process.
The legal basis for us to collect the data is to be able to provide free users with a newsletter service.

For subscribers that register on our website, we store the email addresses. The staff and website administrator can see that information. A subscriber can chose to unsubscribe at any time, at which point the website administrator will delete the relevant email address from our records. This information will then be forever lost and erased.

The Critical Investor staff and the website administrator have access to users data for the purpose of providing services, more specifically sending newsletters.
No personal identifiable data is stored on staff or website administrator computers on a permanent basis. The website administrator will be requested to delete this data from hosting servers etc at the end of the contract with The Critical Investor.
