What appeared to be a rock solid leveraged play on silver, panned out to be a vulnerable minority JV partner, being stripped of their interest seemingly at will by the majority owner and operator. This was disappointing news, but obviously Golden Arrow Resources didn't have a choice after they tried everything to save their 25% interest in the Puna Operation. I will follow SSR Mining very closely regarding the Puna asset from now on, as I find it remarkable at this early stage to be so harsh on the minority partner. It is for example easier to sell an asset when you are a full owner, and maybe SSR Mining wants to switch to gold entirely as well. Read more about it here:
