"Investors rely on Streetwise Reports to share promising investment ideas in a changing world. This valuable insight is integrated with in-depth company information, summaries from the latest research and news that will help you make smart investment decisions."
Streetwise Reports publishes four different websites, of which three related to mining are listed: The Gold Report, The Mining Report and The Energy Report.
The sites contain mostly interviews with knowledgeable sector experts, but as the sites are sponsored by a large number of featured companies and not all experts are independent, and/or sometimes relentless gold bulls, or biased newsletter editors or analysts employed by investment banks providing coverage for client companies mentioned, one has to look carefully for high quality, relatively unbiased interviews. Recommended are Brent Cook, John Kaiser, Chris and Michael Berry, and Thibaut Lepouttre. Guys like Rick Rule, Robert Friedland and Rob McEwen usually have an interesting story to tell as well, but they have strong, related interests and are heavily biased. The Streetwise Reports site interviews do provide information on some lesser known companies as well, so the Criticalinvestor.eu recommends quickscanning most interviews to filter out those for personal starting point research purposes.
