Last year has been a quiet year with the COaVID-19 pandemic restricting most exploration activities in Argentina, but the situation has changed since November 2020, and Blue Sky Uranium (TSXV: BSK; US-OTC: BKUCF) is back in business again, ready to advance their flagship Amarillo Grande uranium project.

Despite COVID-19 gearing up for a second wave, Standard Lithium (TSXV: SLL) (OTCQX: STLHF) (FRA: S5L) continues to raise money in very significant quantities for a typical lithium developer. I continue to be impressed by CEO Robert Mintak, who raised C$34.5M in December of last year, after completing a heavily oversubscribed C$12.1M round in February of that same year.

KORE Mining (TSXV: KORE, OTCQX: KOREF) is a pretty unusual gold junior, as it started trading after the RTO in November 2018 owning 2 advanced heap leach gold projects in California, and an interesting gold exploration project in British Columbia, together containing no less than 4.9M oz gold.

Treasury Metals (TML.TO, TSRMF.US) recently surprised the markets with the raising of C$11.5M in an oversubscribed financing, after announcing the pretty interesting all-equity acquisition, worth C$44M in shares at the time of the news release, of the neighbouring Goldlund open pit project from First Mining Gold, adding 1.6Moz Au of resources to the 1.46 Moz AuEq of Treasury’s flagship Goliath Gold open pit/underground project.

After Standard Lithium (TSXV: SLL) (OTCQX: STLHF) (FRA: S5L) managed to close an almost two times oversubscribed C$12.1M capital raise on February 21, 2020, the company is financed at least into the “Proof of Concept” completion of the demonstration plant, and the subsequent consummation of the formal Joint Venture with LANXESS.

Like most projects around the world, Treasury Metals (TML.TO, TSRMF.US) has temporarily slowing down and shutting down drilling at their Goliath Gold project in Ontario, caused by the omnipresent COVID-19 pandemic, but as it has been completing over half of their drilling program before the virus broke out, it has been reporting several sets of drill results so far this year, and still has a few batches to come.

After Standard Lithium (TSXV: SLL) (OTCQX: STLHF) (FRA: S5L) managed to arrange a C$5M (US$3.75M) convertible loan and guarantee agreement with Lanxess on October 30, 2019, management hasn’t been sitting on its hands. On February 26, 2020, the company announced that an ongoing capital raise, intended to raise C$6M, was closed at no less then C$12.1M.

After raising C$0.87M in October of last year, Blue Sky Uranium (TSXV: BSK; US-OTC: BKUCF) has been busy defining drill targets on their fully owned Amarillo Grande Uranium Vanadium project in Rio Negro, Argentina. An 8 kilometre long IP survey has been completed, which identified a 5 km long anomaly 20 km north of the Ivana deposit.

Sometimes I come across a familiar name that seems to be around forever, not achieving remarkable highs or lows, just following its course quietly like a small river or creek.
