It was good to meet up in person again after a long time with Kenorland Minerals (KLD.V)(3WQO.FSE) CEO Zach Flood at a great conference in Frankfurt last week (Deutsche Goldmesse, organized by Kai Hoffman), and discuss the latest drill results of their flagship Regnault in Quebec, and further plans of the company.

Despite the turmoil going on in the world economy, causing many market commentators to forecast a recession, with the Fed desperately trying to control record inflation with more rate hikes coming up soon, and a Russian president using nuclear rhetorics and firing missiles all over Ukraine, scaring investors away from the markets, for Kenorland Minerals (KLD.V)(3WQO.FSE)

Although the dust hasn’t settled in international capital markets, as inflation still runs rampant and the Federal Reserve is testing their rate policy, Vior Inc. (TSXV:VIO)(FRA:VL51)(OTCQB:VIORF), diligently goes on with their exploration program at their flagship Belleterre Gold project in Quebec.

It probably sounds a bit out of context to discuss results of a winter drill program when the summer really is kicking in with tropical temperatures across the globe, with temperatures up to 38C in Toronto a week ago during last PDAC, but Kenorland Minerals (KLD.V)(3WQO.FSE)

Amidst rising inflation to levels not seen since the seventies, a Russia-Ukraïne conflict which now focuses on the Donbass and southern port cities, but seems contained for now, although it causes disruptions for commodity markets, and a Fed not sure what to do with interest rates, Vior Inc.

Kenorland Minerals (KLD.V)(3WQO.FSE) keeps expanding and finding new mineralized structures at their Regnault target, part of their Frotet project in Quebec, part of the 20/80 JV with Sumitomo where Kenorland is the operator. After announcing the second 25 holes batch of their 57 hole - 17,792m 2021 summer-fall program, it is clear that Regnault contains a considerable gold system, spread out over multiple vein structures.

1. Introduction

An old adage in mining says that to find a new mine, look in the shadow of the headframe of an old or existing mine. This is exactly what Vior Inc. (TSXV:VIO)(FRA:VL51) has been doing at the moment, as it has been exploring their flagship Belleterre Gold project in Quebec, which contains the historic high grade Belleterre gold mine (produced 759koz @ 10.73g/t Au from 1936 to 1959).

After completing their latest 17,792m 2021 summer drill program at their Regnault target, part of their Frotet project in Quebec, Kenorland Minerals (KLD.V)(3WQO.FSE) announced a large batch late December last year with the results of the first 32 holes (9,824m), with assays from the last 25 holes remaining once received back from the labs and interpreted properly.

It seems Kenorland Minerals (KLD.V)(3WQO.FSE) is doing very well at the summer drill program currently underway at their flagship Regnault project, as JV partner Sumitomo Metal Mining Canada was happy to do a strategic investment of no less than C$5.2M in Kenorland equity.
