Gold Terra Resource came out with an updated resource on their Yellowknife City Gold project, and it was slightly above market expectations, with an Inferred resource of 1.2Moz Au. With this number they have reached several crucial thresholds (100,000oz Au production per annum, a life of mine of at least 8 years, a minable resource of 1Moz) for mine financiers, so one would think management is very happy. Not so Chairman Panneton of Detour fame, he sees it as just a nice appetizer for what is yet to come. According to him, the real prize is the Campbell Shear which they are drilling now.
